A CHINESE UNION.

As an outcome of the Factories Act stopping overtime, thereby curtailing their earning powers, the Chinese Cabinet Pieceworkers' Union of Sydney demanded an increase. The masters granted an increase of from 10 to 15 per cent, wages, with a corresponding increase in the price of manufactured articles.
