NEW ZEALAND PITCHES. (Per Press Association.! CHItISTCHURCH, March 14. T. Warne, a member of the Australian team, who has charge of Carlton ground, gays Dunedin provided the only good wicket of the tour. He says there is no need to import soil to make wickets. New Zealand soil is good enough, but care should be taken with the foundation. He thinks New Zealand cricket, likely to make no marked improvement until good wickets are provided. THE WANGANUI TEAM. WANGANUI, March 13. _ Tho team to represent Wanganui against the Australians is as follows: — Buttcrsworth (captain), L. P. Cave, H. B. Cave, Addison. Howard, Holland, Atkinson, Andreae, Burrett, Henderson, and Parker.
