Armstrong and Warne resumed the.Australian innings, OlifT opening to Armstrong and 11 addon bowling at the other end. Tho batsmen opened confidently, and gave a pretty display of running between the wickets for singles. With the score at 224 Oliff bowled Armstrong. 224 —5 —72. The bowling was good, and runs then camc slowly. At 233 Bennett was tried, and runs still camc slowly.
