OBITUARY.
SIR MALCOLM M,'EACHARN. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) MELBOURNE, March 11. Advices have been received of' the death of the Hon. Sir Malcolm Donald M'Eacharn, which occurred at Cannes. Sir Malcolm was on a yachting cruise in the Mediterranean. Received March 12, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, March '1. Sir Malcolm M'Eacharn died 6udd?nly of heart failure after a long illne.s. Lady M'Eacharn was present. The Hon. Sir Malcolm Donald M'Eacharn was born 57 years ago at Islay, Scotland. In 1875, in partnership with Andrew M'lhvraith, of Ayr, he started the business of M'llwraith, M'Eacharn, and Co., Proprietary, Ltd., steamship owners, merchants, and coal contractors.
