BURNING FATALITY.
(Peb Pkess Association.) OAMARU, Feb. 6. A wooden house-was partly destroyed by fire on Saturday while undergoing repairs. ,The proprietor, W. C. Bandinet had put a pot of tar on the fire and went outside. Shortly afterwards he found the room in flames. He rushed back into the building and made an effort to extinguish the flames, and in doing so was badly burnt about the hands and: face. He was conveyed to Ins home, &ut died from shock shortly afterwards. Deceased was 73 years of ago.
