GET AT THE CAUSE. An Irish student attempted to refute a professor's lecture on cause and effect. He objected to the axiomatic principle that cause- is always first and effect a consequence, and ne ilhistrated hie theory by citing one of his countrymen pushing a wheelbarrow.
