SAD FATALITY.
DROWNED ON HIS HONEYMOON. - (Peh Press Association.? ROTORUA, April 27. Charles. Keen, aged 22, was drowned in the Lobster Bath, Kuirau Reserve, at 11 o'clock this morning. Deceased went into the bath accompanied by a companion named Brown, and almost immediately sank. He rose to the surface and sank again, but this time remained under. Brown ran for assistance, and Maoris came and dived. They recovered the body, but too late. Deceased arrived here about a week ago on his honeymoon. He was married on the 16th inst., and came from' Auckland. Th» Lobster Bath is not recognised a.3 a public bath, and all bathing there do so on their own responsibility. There have been several deaths in the same baths. It is supposed that the bather was overcome by the fumes.
