Acceptances for the Easter Handicap, Brighton Hurdles and Autumn Steeplechase at the Auckland Meeting, also general -entries, closo with the secretary, Mr J. F. Hartland, on Friday evening at 9 o'clock.
Mr W. E. Bidwill has decided that the champion three-year-old colt Elevation will be shipped to Sydney on Friday to undergo his final preparation for the Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting. Sid. Reid will pilot the little chestnut in his engagements, and it is to be hbped that the combination will prove as invinciblc on the other side as it has proved in the Dominion since November. If Elevation goes to the post thoroughly well, he will set the Commonwealth gallopers a hard task, and as he is in very capable hands, it looks odds ion his being fit.
