It is stated thai Departmental officers arc to pay a visit to Palmerston on Thursday next, presumably in connection wiih the site for the Dairy School. Mr A. G. Simms, of tjie Agricultural Department, reports that he condemned 40 cases of apples infccted with codlin moth in a small town up the West Coast of this Island. Almost daily he has occasion to condemn small quantities.
