AUCTION SALES

Farmcrß and these interested are re-, minded of Mr Joseph Red's clearing: sale of shoep. cattle, ctc., at. his homestead, Peop-o'-Day, Kimbolton, on Wednesday, March 25 th. The stock to be offered is a really good lino, and as Mr Red has sold most of his property his intention is to sell. The auctioneers are the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Feilding.

STOCK MARKET. Dalget.y and Co. report on their Levin sale:—There was a full yarding of sheep, of which we sold 2400 under the hammer, only une line of lambs being passed. Prices ruled as follows : —Fat ewes (prime quality) 14s 9d, mixed ewes and wethers 12s 3d, two-tooth wethers 10s Id to lis 7d, two-tooth ewes (small) 8s lOd, breeding ew'es 8s 6d to lis 3d, cull ewes 3s 6d to 6s 2d, woolly lambs 7s 4d to 8s Id, shorn 4s to 5s 6d, good 7s 2d to 7s lid, two-alnd-a-half-year steers £3 10s, threeyear st'eors £4 15s. aged cows to £1. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: —On Thursday, 19th inst., wo held a clearing sale on behalf of Mr W. Franklin, at Turakina, Notwithstanding the rough weather, we had a very good attendance and made an excellent clearance Quotations :—F.m. owes, 4s 6d to 5s lOd ; lambs, 5s 9d .to 6s; draught horses, £20 lQs, £23, £33 10s to £43 10s; drill, £27; roller. £27 15s; d.f. ploughs. £10, £11; binder, £10; dray, £13; and a long list of sundries at good prices.
