Applications for assistance to re-grass burnt areas must be received by Mr J. Strauchon, Commissioner of Crown Lands, before April, Ist, 1908, as lists will closc on that date. W. H. Lambert and Co., Rangitikei Street, advertise town properties for sale. Messrs Harris and Sussex, land agents. Levin, have a sheep farm of 1260 acrcs fo.r sale, also other properties. The Langer system of dressmaking is taught by Mrs McCarthy, of Main Street. Twelve lessons are all that arc required. 1 The members of the P.N. Brass Band are requested to meet at Coleman Place at 7.30 on Wednesday evening and march to the Show Grounds to take part in the Boys' Brigade concert.
