Penalties.—Flat Races: The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b, & n d of any additional race or races a further penalty of 51b. Hurdles: The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b, and for any additional hurdle race 71b extra. . Definition of a Hack. —A hack is a horse that has not won a race of the value of 100 sovs, or races of the collective value of 250 sovs, up to date of nomination.
