ST. PATRICK'S CONCERT.

A grand National Concert will be held at the Zealandia Hall to-night, at which a fine programme of Irish music, song and story will be given. Included among the performers are Mr Frank R. Johnstone, the well-known 'cellist, of Wellington, who is not unknown to Palmerston audiences. His contribution will be Gounod's " Ave Maria," " Memorie," and " Tarantelle." Miss V. Lamacroft, of Wellington, is down for two favourite songs, " Terence's Farewell," and " Believe me if all these endearing young charms." Mrs Louisson, who will sing that old favourite, " Killarney," Mrs Broad, whose singing was much admired at the last Convent concert, will sing " Kathleen Mavourneen." Among the other items may he i».entioned " Off to Philadelphia," by Mr Paul Hockley; "Foggy Dew," by Mr Sidford; the popular duet, ''"The Moon hath raised her Lamp Above," by Messrs Keeble and Rod-gt-rs; "Eileen Alannah," by Mi- T. J. Rodgers, and Chorus by the full company. Mr Russell will recite "Father O'Flynn's Recollections." As the programme is well-selected and the best amateur talent available are perf jraiing, a very enjoyable evening's entertainment can confidently be expected. After the concert a dance will be held at the Zealandia Hall. The floor ' has been specially prepared for dancing, while supper will be served in a (Spacious marque, erected, beside the hall.
