At the Courthouse this morning, before Messrs R. Edwards and H. R. Waldegrave, J.P., Samuel Teaz, (Mr Graham) was charged that, on May 27th last, he committed perjury, being at the time a witness in a case in which he was charged by the police with allowing a bull to wander. Evidence in the case was taken at considerable length, after which it was adjourned until this afternoon, when the hearing was resumed. After taking the evidence of a couple of witnesses a further adjournment was made to permit of counsel engaged appearing in the Arbitration Court.
