GOLF.
The monthly Bogey competition will be played on Saturday next, 15th inst. The Pahiatua Golf Club have arranged to send a team to play on the local links on Saturday, 22nd inst. The Manawatu team will include several junior players. The annual tournament has been fixed for September 3rd, 4th, sth and 6th, and full particulars will be advertised later. The first day will be devoted chiefly to events for ladies. Prizes have been kindly presented by Mrs H. Waldegrave for a mixed foursome bogey competition, which will probably be played on Wednesday week.
