EXTENSIVE SYDNEY FRAUD.

A sequestration order was granted iro the estate of Abraham Myerson and Maurice Myerson, merchants, trading as the American Shirt Company and Phoenix Clothing Manufacturers, who were arrested on a charge of conspiracy to defraud their creditors. The evidence on behalf of the petitioning creditors, who iftclude a number of large city firms, set out that the liabilities are over £25,000 and the assets £11,000. The Myersons have been selling heavy stocks of goods at auction below cost price and drawing large sums from the bank, whereof 110 account is given in the books. .
