THE BALLOON MISHAP.
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright..) Per Press Association LONDON, June 1. The log kept by the officers in the missing war balloon shows that they were aware of the proximity of the sea. The last entry was made at 8.15 at a height of 100 feet, with the anchor trailing. Received June 3rd, 8.46 a.m. London, June 2. The King has expressed his grief and anxiety over the fate of the missing aeronauts. The cordage of the balloon and car is not damaged, and the safety valve is closed.
