He was a good though unlucky racehorse, and a stayer of the first class. He won the Nelson Plate, 1 mile 7 furlongs, m 3min 4 1-5 sec; the Zetland Plate, 1 mile, in lmin 43 1-5 sec; and ran second in the Chester Wynnstay Plate, 1% miles; the Nottingham Handicap, miles, and theSandowri Autumn Handicap, 1 mile. He will be limited to 15 approved mares besides the owners' mares. Fee: 20 guineas per mare; groomage ss. Good paddocking 2s 6d per week. Mares will be met at the Palmerston North Railway Station.
