Cricket.

The games for the first round of the championship were continued on the Sports' ground on Saturday afternoon.

OLD BOYS v. PALMERSTON A.

When each team in this match had had one innings Palmerston was leading by one run. As the time was far spent and it soemed impossible that the second innings could be got over before half-past six the members of this team were congratulating themselves upon having won the match.
