IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and amendments, the Kairanga County Council hereby .resolves as follows:—That for the purpose of providing the interest at £4 per centum per aLQum and other charges on the sum of £250, under section. 14 of "The Local Bodies Loans /Set, 1901," and amend: merits, for the purpose of protecting the bank of the Manawatu River in Section 233, Block XII., Kairanga Survey District, the Baid Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one-fourth of a penny ia the £ ;., upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property in the " Manawatu liiver Protective "Works Special Rating Dtsii t No I," comprising the following sections: Allotments 1, 2, aiid 3, of Sections- 225 aiid 226; Allotment 4 of Section 225, Sections 227,228, 229,230 231, 282. 233, Block XI-V Survey District, and Section' 288, block XII., Kairanga Survey District. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan and be payable half-year'y on the first day of February and the first day of Augudt in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years or until the Loan is fully paid off; cost of raising Loan to be paid oufc of Loan. And that such Special Rate Bhall be an annualrecurring Rafco during the currency of Buch Loan and be payable half-yearly on ihe first day of February and tip, first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
