Also, subject to slight reserye— Draught mare in foal, 3-yr spring carfc gelding, half draught gelding, 2-yr gelding. The above herd is one of the best iknown in the district. Mr C. H. Burnett, the formor owner, kept them carefully culled for 10 years, and Messrs Hills and Garlick, who bought the herd two years ago, have tested all the cows and culled those that did not reach the proper standard. Many of the cows are out of Mr Fairfield Thompson's and other well known Jersey breeders' herds. The average test for 1903 and 1904 was 4*B, running from 4"0 to 6-5.
