The Stock Market.

Me W. Rose reports:~ The fortnight's sales Include Woodville, Danaevirke and Ormondville, and a special sale of broken and unbroken draught ana other horses. The latter included a draft of oolta and fillies from Mangatoro station, which attracted buyers from all quarters. Other entrios of well known and superior draught stock combined, to make a catalogue which brought together probably. the largest attendance known at a horso sale.in.this district.* At cacti place where stock sales were held the entries have^only been moderate, the continually bad weather holding them baok. Prices generally Bhow an inclination to improve. My quotations are :— Woodville— Oattlo—Fat cows £5 ss, 2r.year steers £4, eighteen month steers £B 10s, yearling Bteers £2 ss, springing heifers £4 15 3 to £5.
