A Captured Steamer Released.

LONDON, Oct. 23,
The St. Petersburg correspondent of the newspaper Echo De Paris states 70 per cent, of the Russian sick and wounded rejoin the ranks after a fortnight, their wounds being slight unless abdominal. The copper-cased bullets the Japanese use, however, wound dangerously. .
The Russian Admiralty Council has annulled the Yladivostock Prize Court's confiscation of the steamer Allanton, and released the ship and .cargo, though it is considered the suspicious circumstances justified the arrest.
The Japanese captured 5,474 rifles at the battle of Shaho.
