A refrigerator, worked by a six-horse-power gas engine, has been installed. /Should there be sufficient demand, the firm will set up an ice-making machine, and will be prepared to supply ice to their customers at reasohable rates. The small goods department is to be made a feature of the business: It is now in charge of a; thoroughly competent manager, and patrons may rely on. having their wants in this respect supplied. Conveniences for carrying oh the department have also been fitted up. Among other improvements, the firm has erected a large ten-stalled stable with concrete floor and other/conveniences. ' / *'.
