Borough Council.
The adjourned meeting of the Borough Council, was held last night. Present—The Mayor and Crs Haydon, Jaeli;, Armstrong, Goodger, Essex, ■ and Browning. An apology.was received from Gr. HoTben. °
The Council went into committee and remained so until ahjourning.
THE ESTIMATES
The Borough Ranger was granted an increase. of £10 per year in : salary, and the office boy's salary, was fixed at £36 per year., . A sum. of £175 was placed onr ,the estimates for Fire Brigade purposes, £150 to make additione to the Central station as -that a. married man can reside on the premises, and £25 to be spent in repairing the . bell tower, which has been condemned owing to. one of the main supports1 rottingl. ..'■...• • The Council then adjourned till Monday nigiit.)
