On Wednesday and Thursday next, the Manawato Poultry Association will hold its second annual show in the _Zealandia Hall, Broad street. Entries received constitute 'a record for the town, 'and as practically all the principal breeders between Auckland and Marlborough are represented, not only a fine - show but', also, keen competition may Me expected in all. classes. In the championship classes exceptionally fine birds may be.expected.' In addition to the birds in the competing, classes there will be representatives of new in^eds on exhibition only, and they should form not one of the least, attractive features. The committee has ui.vJe full 'arrangements for the proper feeding of the fowls, and exhiibitors need have no apprehension on that score. . Tickets for the art union, the first three prizes in which are of a-"re-spective value af £15, £7 10s, 'wid' £2 10s, are selling rapidly,' and, g'enorially, there is every reason toi anticipate a most successful fixture. Art union tickets admit to the show as well as being -available ' for the prizes mentioned. The shew wi]J be, opened by Mr W. T. Wood,. M.H.R., on Wodnwday 'afternoon, ait two o'clock. ■
