NAPIER, July 30. At a small meeting of the Holiday Association, called (to: idiscuss t'hq Shops and Offices Bill,, a resolution was passed,- that, in, their opinion, the present. Act was working.'satisfactorily, and the suggested alterations would ; still further complicate matters without advantage tp the public. The -general opinion was that if. a poll is to be taken it should be on the (pxestAori of a universal Saturday holiday and not confined -to districts.
