Grayi who, by ins generosity, made the cycle racing a feature of the meetin-o-which helped to swell the club's credit balance considerably. The secretary also desires to thank the club for the handsome gold chain and pen- . 'dant . presented to him during the year; also, for the assistance ex-" tended to him by the members and committee during his term of office but very much regrets being unable-, to again offer himself for re-electdoa. The chairman, in referring to- tho loss the club would sustain in losing, the services of Mr Smith as'secretary, stated that the club largely owed its present prosperous condition to. the untiring energy 'displayed by. the secretary during the time he hauS filled tho position: Ho had : great) •pleasure in moving a hearty voto of thanks to Mr Smith for his past services, which- was carried w t th acclamation. A vote of thanks tc the chair, axid to the Racing- Club for use cf office, brought the meeting- to a close.
