Training Note-

(Per Press Association).. CHRiSTCHrraoH, July 28. The tracks have improved as the result of a drying wind. Huku was the first out, and went twice round, the last six furlongs being accomplished at his best pace. He went well. Cannie Chiel, muscular and fresh, did a good striding gallop in the last of two rounds'. The Mohican went pleasingly for a mile and a-half at a sound pace. Haydn and Kaitere covered a circait at half to three-quarter pace on the inside grass, where nearly all the work was done Banana did steady work. Seoret Society and Clanbum sprinted four furJongs- Comfort (O'Connell) and la (Woods) did a good gallop over six flights of hurdles. la, with ; all. the best °„ *_ c wei ShtB' eas^y teld Comfort at the finish. Papatu went twice round at half pace. Aka Aka, Tahae, and Crespin did two circuits at a steady to threequarter pace. Wet Blanket got a break of several lengths from Zealous at the start for once round. The latter, however, easily held Wet Blanket at the finish. Mocassin went three circuits steadily. Cerise and Blue covered six furlo-gs at a strong gallop. Merry Boy trotted and cantered. Agitator and .Flantagenet went twice round at a strong canter, and spurted down the straight. 'Lee Enfield was too good for Lady Soult at the end of six. furlongs, ot. Reef went once round at a smart pace. Ma-jess covered a mile on the tan under slight restraint. Rattlesnake (Carr) and Nikola (Thomas) were schooled over sis flights of hurdles Both fenced well, the former eoinc best at the finish.
