Dixs New Gaiety Co.

An attraction that should prove of a most popular nature will eventuate at the Lyceum Theatre on Monday evening next, when Mr P. E. Dixs new company of gaiety entertainers will make one appearance in Palmerston. This 'is an entirely new combination, several of the artists .having been specially engaged to open at tho Theatre Royal, Wellington, when the improvements are completed. Kellmann, the " star " of the company, is a prestidgitatcur of marvellous ability ; his illusions, feats of magic, and conjuring form quite.a show in themselves. A bright and clever turn is introduced by the Delavalcs, whose cycling act and dancing j s quite out of the .common. . Mr Alf. Davidson,. is the possessor, of a fine tenor voice ; the lkrtotos are very clever serio dancers ; Mr Carl Collier contributes a unique banjo and instrumental turn, whilst Mr Joo. Cowan is a comedian already very popular with local audiences. Pretty scenery and wardrobe is carried, so the company presents a bright ami pleasing programme at very popular prices. Tickets may be obtained for part of the house at Davis' tobacconist shop.
