(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 14. The Conference closed to-night. I'he- following rosolutioLa- was carried, *« Re church union, the Conference repeats its adherence to convictions expressed a year ago with respect to the 'desirableness of union ! ■between the evangelical churdhes, | and while appreciating tho spirit oi the overtures then made- 'by the WolI lingtori Presbyterian Church, and al,so having regard to tShle 'decision oi | the Assembly of 1903, to remit «on- | sideration of the subject to the : presbyteries and sessions of the , church, resolves to follow the only | course left open, viz., to await such promote the object so 'dear to ; developments as may arise therefrom, aad in the meantime to cultij vate such a fraternal spirit as will ! Christ himself.
