Press Association. Wellington, March 15. The Executive of the New Zoaland Rasjby Union discus?ed the financial aspect of the proposed tour of England next year. The cost of a three months' pliying tour was estimated at £5,000 To establish tho nucleus of a fund it was proposed that the New Zealand Union shouia find £SCO, and rhe Unions in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin £100 each, and endeavor to raise a further £150 each by means of debentures, tho smaller Unions to be asked to take up £10 worth of debentures each and find an additional £40 each by means of debentures. These proposals were adopted and will be submitted to the v-rious Unions for confirmation. It was also decided to offer the Er<"lish team visiting New Sourh Wales a minimum guarantee of £600 Rnd 75 percent, of the net proceeds for five matches in New Zealand. A lettor of sympathy re the death of Mr Spragg was sent to the Queensland Union.
