The importers have spared no expense in securing animals of tbe very blu-s; blood, with pedigrees as long as one's arm, whilst the practical records of the dams are of the highest class, lhe heifers are two-year-olds and comprise :- (No 217) Ethel of Deihurst 2nd. dam Nethorland Andre Hamming De Kol (record 15.51 at 4 years), sire p au l D e £ ol flf Delhurst • (ISo. 297), dam Mentor Maid of Delburst (record 15.92), sire Paul De Kol of Delhurst; (No. 259) Lady De .Eol of Delhurst 2nd, dum Lady of Delhurst sire Royal Paul. He is not yet two years old, and promises to furnish into a very fine animal. They all, of course, show signs of the extremely long journey and the ordeal they have been through, and it will take some little time to becorce acclimatised aud fully recover themselves. Messrs McKenzie and Lov.. lock are to be congratulated ou (lie safe arrival of such valuable animals, and we trust their enterprise will meet with the reward it certainly deserve. The cattle were shipped from • 'Frisco through the agency of the N.Z.L. & M, Co.
