Several dairies iri the district had been visited and'found in'! a very fair condition, no doubt, owing to the spell of dry weather. The inspctor was instructed to visit the culvert complained of by Mr Allen at Jackeytown, with power to act. ' The clerk reported that the requests of Messrs "Wither and Nielson had bean replied to. . It was decided to draw the attention of the Manawatu Drainage Board to the debris accumulated from the drain on No. 1 Line from Hughes' Line to B,aiicitikei Line. . The Inspector wa3 instructed to report, on the question of metalling, forming and constructing a bridge on. Flyger's line to Gillespie's road; also to report on a request by Mr P. Scheidt, Bunny thorpe, that five chains of metalling be done on Cooksiey's road froai Kuff's road to the Terrace. Mr E. S. Abraham .waited on the Board and asked that No. 2 line from Eangitikei • line to Milson's line be formed and metalled.—lnspector to report on same. XENDEBS.
