Chbisichubch, February 16. The tram from Culverden to Christchurch, on reaching Sefton this morning, found the station locked and the station master missing. As the driver and guard had been fined on a previous occasion for passing through the station wheh.locked they refused to proceed and waited for 75 minutes: till ■arrangements were made. : :.-. ■ , : .•.'..■■■
Ifc is believed the station master lias gone on a hunting picnic, in company with a man who is .also missing. He purchased a revolver, cartridges, tea and matches- yesterday, and blankets y and a billy can ,are7missing;. from his house.
