The body of Miss Fanny Hickman was found by boys in a plantation at Richmond Park. The body was headless. Apparently it had been gnawed by rats. >.
Although in an apparently advanced state of decomposition the body' was identified by medals and an ambulance cross bearing Miss Hickman's name. She has 'beeii dead, for upwards of a month.
jV silver watch and chain was found on the body.
(In August last it was reported that Miss Fanny Hickman, a wellknown lady doctor, had disappeai--ed from one of the London hospitals. She was not observed to leave the building, and, despite the efforts of her friends and the police, no trace of the young lady was discovered. It was stated by the London Daily News that something happened in the hospital to cause distress to Miss Hickman.)
