Mabton, Monday. The Manawatu v. Rangitikei polo teams met for the second time this year on Saturday at Bulls. After a fast and well contested game Rangitikei won by four goals to three, the first time Strang and Robinson have been beaten. Rangitikei was represented by Dalrymple and Wilson (3), and are proud of scoring a win against what has hitherto been the strongest combination in New Zealand.
Rangitikei played a splendid fast game, showing great combination., Manawatu, although showing equally as good combination were not so sure of the ball as Rangitikei. On all sides it was admitted that the winners deserved their success.
The second Manawatu team defeated Rangitikei second by 6 to 0. The winners played almost as good a game as the former teams and were warmly complimented on their splendid exhibition of polo.
