EXPLOSION IN A FRENCH CAMP.
A distressing noeidenfc which happened at Paris on July 24th, tho second of the kind withiu flight days—has caused profound emotion in military circles. A company of sappers was en' gaged at a'manoeuvre camp at Satory, near Versailos, in preparing the ground for Bonio experiments in mine firing, when a charge of melinite unexpectedly exploded, killing five and injuring fiteen of those in the immediate vicinity, Tho fatalities included ono officer and four non-commissioned officors, and the injured men arc 9Oinposed of privatosaud corporals.
