Harry Palmer reports — On Wednesday \va conducted a sale of dairy stock, etc , on account of Mr Bowers, Bunnychorps, every lino bei g quitted at suti-faetory prices. On Thu'r.-day a very Bueces.-ful sale of pouitry was held on behalf of Messrs Fifld Bros. Well-brr-d hens and pulletrealised from 4s to 7s; common sorts, 2s 6d to 33 8d ; coekorols, 3s Gd to 20-* each. For our Saturday' sale we quote : — Poultry—A big entry and good demand. Hens and pullets, 3a to 7s pair; primo cockerels, 3s to 4s; other sovts, 2s to 8s; chicKs, Is 3d to Is Gd pair ; ducks, 3a Gd to 53 pair; geese, fls ; turkeys, Bs. Pigs Weaners, 7s to 0s oach, were the only lines entered. Produco—Oats. 3s 3d ; barley, 3s 7d ; wheat, 4s 6d ; eating potatoes, £3 10s to ;24 10a; pig do, 39s and 243; carrots, 3s ; pumpkins, 4s sack; straw chaff, £3.
