Another Railway Fatality.
(Pet Press Association) DuNKDiJf, Tuesday. Peter XickoUon, crossing kesper nt Gore, a very old railway employee, was killed in the railway yard this morning. Deceased wns.standing clear of the line when tlie engine approached, but appeared to slip on the frost covered cud of a sleeper and fell across the rails in front of the engine, which passed over his body breaking bis arm, hip, and leg. Ho died shortly after. Deceased at one time acted as travelling delegate for the Railway Servants' Union between Ci»r;stokurch and Dunedin and wns one of tlie founders of the Union.
