St. Petkr's.—At St. Peter's Church last night the Hoy. J. A.Jacob took the service and preached an eloquent sermon J.Q a largo congregation, taking his'toxt trom Hebrews, 3 clmp., 8 verse. The 10 v. gentleman made a very favovablo impression, Members of the congregation expressed a wish that they might hear him again at some future date.
