Harry Palmer i'epbrts:— Produce.—There is still a .very keen demand for all kinds of produce; soed potatoes are sellintj: rapidly, realising from £5 10s to as much as £14 per ton; good sound eating potatoes 8/6 to 9/6 .per saok; pig do., 3/6 to 4/-; onions (very scarce), 2d to 3d per. lb;"; carrots, 2/6 to 3/- sack; oats, 2/- to 2/6 bushel; wheat, 2/9 to 3/6; seed peas,; 4/6 to :6/6 bushel; Bu h horse beans, 3/6 to 3/9; chaff, £2 10s"to£4;'baconand hams,3d to 6d; pumpkins, 3/6 sack. All other line's big prices."'.."., . , ■ '. 'Poultry.—For all classes there is good demand, _ and remarkable prices are ijrought in some instances;: Cockerels, :3/-'to:4/-"per pair"; hens,"3/3 toT4/6; ducks,-3/9 to 4/6; geese, 8/- to 3/6 each. Pigs.—-We. can place several lines of well-bredtweaners and stores at->ery good prices. ; Sales—Our Saturday's sale consisted mostly of nursery stock, boots, poultry, etc., and was a great success, the number of lots put through in the space of time constituting a record, something like 700 lots. We have numerous applications for small farms and house property, which_is a .good healthy sign. It will be a boon to farmers and others to know that a good season is "predicted.-
