BRITISH PRISONERS RELEASED
Received January 19, at 8.25 a.m. London, January 18. The British prisoners held at Helvetia and Belfast have been released. THE TRANSVAAL CAPITAL. Pretoria is now full of British troops. THE HIGH COMMISSIONER. Sir Alfred Milner's departure for Pretoria is indefinitely postponed. __ PLENTY OF RECRUITS. Yeomanry volunteers and militia arc eagerly responding for the formation of their proportion of volunteers and artillery required for the Cape.
