Lord Roberts Sails for England.
Received Ootober 27, at 8.45 a.m. London, October 20. It is officially Btated that Lord Roberts sails lor England on November 15th, assuming tho position of Com-mander-in-Chief in December. A PLUCKY FEAT. Lieut. Aldridge, of the Orange Riyer Colony Police, with ten men from Rouxville, worked along the Basutoland frontier, galloped ovor a hill into the town of Zastrom, captured the Landdrost and nino Boers, and released two British.
700 AUSTRALIANS RETURNING
Capetown, October 26,
Seven hundred Australian troops havo quitted Pretoria to embark at Capetown for Australia shortly. A hearty farewell to the men is being prepared.
OOLESBERG GARRISONED Colesberg has been garrisoned.
