The invalid .soldiers include Trooper Morris, of the New South Wales .Lancers, and Trooper Kruger of Westralia, both of whom have been recom- - mended for the Victoria Cross. The latter won the distinction for rescuing a wounded Lieutenant in =an engagement at Rensburg under heavy fire, despite being himself struck and slightly' weunded a couple of times. Troop«r Morris rescued a fellow trooper under a galiing fire near Arundel.
