The Premier's Trip.

At an early hour this morning the Government steamer Tntaneka, with the Premier and party on board, left on a month's cruise among the South Sea Islands, where it is hoped the rest and change of scene will improve Mr Seddon's health. The steamer will proceed direct to Raratonga—a seven days' trip —and will then visit the Cook Islands, Tonga and Fiji, calling in at Auckland on the return to Wellington. The Hinemoa's handy little oil launch was taken for the use of picnic and fishing i excursions, and for landing the passengers in places not accessible to the larger vessel. The ship's bunkers are supplied with 258 tons of coal for the trip. The following ladies and gentlemen comprise the party vn board :—Hon the Premier and Mrs Mrs Seddon, Miss Seddon, Misses May and Euby Seddon. Masters Thomas and Stuart Seddon, Mr Trask (Mayor of Nelson) and Mrs Trask, Mr Hamer (private secretary) and Mrs Hamer, Mr Andrews (private secretary), Dr Teare, Mr E.
