Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnsonville sale :—Fat cattle in fewer numbers sold rather better than last week's and made aboiit 17s the lOOlbs. Some of these bullocks showed signs of going'.ofi' in condition, due to the recent cold weather. Prime bullocks made from £1 2s 6d to £7 17s 6d, smaller bullocks £6 to M 12s J
6d. Sheep in moderate numbers, were keenly competed for. Prices for medium quality showed an advance of fully Is per head over last week's prices. Prime heavy ewes, 15s lid ; medium ewes, 12s 6d to 13s ; fat ewes, 10s to 11s 3d ; light wethers, l<3s to 13s 7d, fat wethers, 15s. Pigs were poor in quality and sold at a low rate.
