Death of Magistrate Booth

Gisbokne, May 15. Obituary —Mr Booth, Stipendiary Magistrate, after a brief illness. He arrived in the colony in 1852, and was through the whole of the fighting in the Wanganni district, he being captured wich his family by Hauhaus and was held in fear of death for three days.
