RACING IN ENGLAND
[By Electric Telegraph — Copyrightj (Per Press Association.) London, May 13. At the Kempton Park May Race Meeting, the Great Jubilee Stakes, a handicap of £1500 with a sweepstake of £30 added, was won by Sirenia.
The stewards of the Wellington Trotting Club have dealt drastically with a case which came under their notice at the recent patriotic meeting held at Petone. After hearing further evidence as to the running of the mare Miss Hanlon, they have decided to disqualify G. W. Smart, the owner of the mare, for five years, and Campbell, the rider of the mare in the first race on the second day, for two years.
