The Grain Brokers' Association report the oat market as firmer, with a good inquiry, but holders generally are asking prices slightly above buyers' values. Business would be practicable at about 2/2£ for B grade, but merchants are reluctant to sell at less than 2/3 to 2/3£, G" grade £d less. Trade is thus restricted, but the stocks in store are so light that shippers can aflord to adopt a%jndependent attitude for a few weeks, * Especially as the harvest is likely to be late. "*
